West London Dance Academy in Ealing and Chiswick takes pride in teaching students the importance of ballet in their physical, mental and emotional health. Some of our students have pursued their love for dancing by studying in professional dance schools.
Congratulations to all pupils who took the latest examinations in Ballet ,Tap and Modern Jazz Exams in December 2018 All pupils Achieved marks as high as 83% - 96% out of 31 students taking exams 6 achieved Merits and 25 achieved Distinctions! in both Amateur Grades and Professional Vocational qualifications.
A special congratulations to Annie , Mathilde , Shreya and Francesca who were nominated by the examiner to compete in the International Theatre Awards in Manchester in February 2019. Only 500 talented pupils get nominated out of 7500 each year so we feel extremely proud to have 4 pupils nominated and representing the Academy. Annie at just 16 years of age has completed her last Vocational Qualification in the extremely technically challenging Advanced 2 Ballet and achieved as high as 96% she as given an outstanding report and commendation from the Examiner.
Congratulations to Ian Veirs who has successfully auditioned and been offered a Full-Time place as a Dance student at Arts Educational he will begin his Full-Time training in September 2019.
Teacher Training News
A Huge congratulations to Natalie Victoria Dungan ( Miss Victoria) who completed her Level 4 Ballet Teaching Diploma with a mark of 95% Distinction . After a 12 week intensive course on the West London Dance Academy Intensive Teacher Training programme. We are very proud to be offering a professional course that enables Dancers to qualify as Teachers quickly but with an extremely successful pass rate.
