Free Trials and Examinations
We offer free trial lessons for students who want to find out which class suits their preferences before enrolling in the academy. There are also examinations in Ballet Tap and Modern Jazz for Grades and Professional Vocational sessions two to three times a year. This enables all pupils to progress quickly. We have a history of 100% pass rate with all pupils achieving Merits or Distinctions .
Teacher Training Programme
Our academy provides Intensive Professional Teacher Training for dance students within and outside of the Academy. If you want to become a dance teacher in the future, this programme can help you. We offer Pre Associate and Level 4 diploma courses in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz . Every course is designed to help you qualify quickly but successfully around your busy training, teaching , studying or work schedule. For more information about our 3 courses on offer contact Head Office and you will be directed to the principal for a general discussion on the best course for you. You will need to pass a short interview, class participation and application in order to be eligible to attend one of our courses.
All students who have attended the West London Dance Academy Teacher Training courses have achieved marks as high as 90% Distinctions and above.
To showcase the talent of our students, we organize at least one production every 18 months in a large venue. We always encourage students to take part in the dance production. Last year, we performed the beloved ballet, “The Nutcracker” at the Chiswick Town Hall on July 2, 2017. Our next production is scheduled for March 2019 so watch this space!
